NJ Hero Cop Wins Big On Game Show
In August 2016, NJ Transit officer Victor Ortiz rescued a man from the tracks in Secaucus. Earlier this week, Ortiz and his wife were contestants on The Wall, and won $499,899!
Ortiz's wife, Evelyn, was locked in an isolation chamber, answering trivia questions. For every question she got right, the family would win whatever total the ball landed in - but if she got it wrong, the total would be subtracted from their winnings.
