Sure, the taxes are wild, housing prices and rent prices are out of control, but when the sun is out, the weather is nice, and you've got your feet in the sand while you look out over the Atlantic Ocean, it's all worth it.
My wife and I moved to Jersey about 5 years ago, and now that we own a home, there's no looking back. New Jersey is home, and we love it. And like most locals, the summertime is our favorite time of the year. However, it's a double-edged sword, because summertime also means it's tourist season, and that can be taxing in its own way.
