Newtown, CT School Shooting Update

A tragic shooting by a gunman from New Jersey at a school in Connecticut has taken the lives of 27 people, including 18 children.

CBS reports that reports there is preliminary information that the gunman was the father of one of the students and that the gunman is 20 years old and is from New Jersey.

CBS News also reports that a second person is in custody.

This terrible tragedy happened around 9:40 this morning at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
