New Queensryche Song Released (Without Geoff Tate)

Queensryche may have parted ways with their powerful vocalist, Geoff Tate, but they've moved on without him and have just released a single off their forthcoming album.

According to ultimateclassicrock.com, the new record is due out on June 10th.

As much as I love Geoff Tate's voice, I must admit, the new singer, Todd La Torre is strong.

Geoff Tate continues on with his new band, billed as "Queensrÿche Starring Geoff Tate the Original Voice".

Actually, Tate won a court ruling last fall to continue to use the name Queensryche, at least for the time being.

The new Queensryche is currently on tour and the Queensryche version with Tate kicks off their 25th Anniversary Operation: Mindcrime 2013 tour next month.
