These Are New Jersey’s Top 25 Breweries According To Residents
What is the best brewery in New Jersey? It's a hard question to answer, but we've narrowed down what appear to be the top 25 most popular breweries in the Garden State.
It's not a secret, especially if you listen to my afternoon show on 105.7 The Hawk, that I'm a huge fan of beer.
Whether that's just a six-pack of Corona on a Saturday afternoon with some buddies or checking out the latest release at a microbrewery, beer is just a great beverage.
The only type of beer I won't drink is porters, and that's just because I don't want to feel like I just ate an entire meal after a pint.
I've been curious though what some of the best breweries around New Jersey were to check out.
I've gone a lot to Heavy Reel Brewing in Seaside Heights just because it's three blocks from my apartment, and easy to get to, but I'm curious about what other breweries should be on my list.
I threw the question out there on the 105.7 The Hawk Facebook page, and the responses were absolutely overwhelming.
Some of the comments mentioned breweries in Ocean County, South Jersey, Burlington County, and so many other areas.
The most popular response was probably a tie between Icarus Brewing in Lakewood, and Manafirken Brewing in Manahawkin.
Kane Brewing and Cape May Brewing were both mentioned several times as well as Village Idiot Brewing.
There were even a few people who had to name-drop the King of Beers Budweiser, saying the Budweiser plant in Newark was their favorite.
Of course, I was looking more so for the local craft breweries around the area but hey, you like what you like!
So, let's go ahead and check out the top 25 New Jersey Breweries according to you!
