There's really nothing better than a big juicy burger piled high with toppings nestled on a toasted brioche bun, I'm hungry just picturing it!

The Jersey Shore is no stranger to some pretty amazing hamburger places too.

Just a few weeks ago my wife and I tried Beacon 70 on their burger night and it was a life-changing experience.

Of course, you also have Tommys Tavern and Tap, Jersey Freeze, and Barrier Island Burger if you want a solid hamburger.

There is one place however that I think stands out as having some of the best burgers near the Jersey Shore, and what's really exciting is that this locally owned and operated hamburger spot is expanding!

It's a place that's well-known for juicy Angus burgers, milkshakes, and other classics like root beer floats.

What Locally Owned Burger Spot Is Expanding At The Jersey Shore?

I'm no stranger to this place, I pass their location off 37 in Toms River every day going to and from the radio station.

The new location however will be located in LBI, and what makes it unique is that it will be one of the few restaurants that'll be open year-round, according to APP!

APP reports the new location will open up right over the Causeway bridge in the former Surf Taco off Ocean County Road 607 in LBI.

What I think is pretty neat is that the new location will feature a milkshake window on the weekends in the summer so when the hot LBI sun has you jonesing for a shake, you can get in and out quickly.

Congratulations to Burger 25 for expanding to a second location in Ship Bottom, LBI!

The new location, according to owners Denise and Steve Vetter should be open by late spring of 2023.
