New Adventure For Jackson NJ Residents Just As Great

You may have noticed the aggressive and continued construction on Route 537 in Jackson New Jersey.  Since the 2018 groundbreaking of what will be a “238-acre sports and entertainment complex”, plans for Adventure Crossing USA have gone through some changes.

Phase one of the large footprint, located just down the street from Six Flags Great Adventure, is labeled to be a “youth sports venue”.

It will also include plans for hotels.  This massive initiative is expected to open this fall.

Here comes PHASE 2...

Each plan presented by developer Cardinale Enterprises needed specific approval.  Plans for phase 2 were just approved by the Jackson Township Planning Board.  This next step includes warehouse space.

The location plan for the 1 million square feet of warehouse facilities has some residents up in arms.  Their concern was the location was too close to the neighborhoods along Anderson Road.

Phase two also includes over 60,000 square feet dedicated to retail and a 500-apartment residence complex.

An additional phase was also introduced at the July 26, Planning Board meeting.  Cardinale proposed the development of a “surf park”.  A complete “man-made” surfing facility.

A new Multiple Sclerosis research center is also in the plans.  This philanthropic investment is close to Victor Cardinale’s heart.  His wife succumbed to the disease.  The center will be the crowning jewel of his overall project.
