Stephen Patrick Morrissey, simply known, of course, as Morrissey, is coming to our area this June and I've got your tickets this week to the show.

He's been called an innovator and one of the most influential artists ever, both with The Smiths and in his solo career.

He's coming to Ovation Hall at Revel Casino Hotel on Friday, June 6th.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 21st at noon, but I'll give you a chance to win 'em before you can buy 'em all week long here on the Hawk.

Morrissey recently released his autobiography and is poised to release a new album, according to newsday.com:

The recently minted best-selling author, thanks to his “Autobiography” that topped sales charts in England and Ireland, recently finished recording the album in France with producer Joe Chiccarelli and will release it on Harvest Records in America.

Morrissey is a big animal rights person and that alone makes me a fan.

The Hawk's Stei (Bob to me) is a huge fan and had this to say about his idol:
