Modell’s In Lakewood Closing

Yesterday afternoon I was running some errands that took me to the Town & Country Shopping Center on Route 70 in Lakewood. As I was leaving, I noticed a big yellow sign hanging on Modell's.

Strangely, I haven't seen any other news about this. I did some Googling and couldn't find any other info as to what happened, why the lease wasn't renewed, who owns the property, etc. For now we're just left with a big yellow sign, and lots of sales being advertised in the store windows.
