The winning numbers from Saturday night's drawing were 5, 36, 39, 45, and 57. The Powerball drawn was 11 with a Power Play of 2X.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot is 1 in 292.2 million.

You have a better chance of being elected President of the United States, being a movie star, going to the emergency room with a pogo-stick-related injury (random, I know,) or having conjoined twins.

Now, I don't want to put a damper on playing. As they say, you have to be in it to win it. Have you ever wondered who "they" are? I digress.

The New Jersey Lottery has confirmed that a winning Powerball ticket from Saturday night's drawing was purchased in the Garden State.

The point of purchase is still unknown, so if you bought a ticket for Saturday, make sure you double-check.
