A Matawan man had been arrested for producing child porn and invasion of privacy after allegedly setting up a hidden camera in the bathroom of a home in Brick where he secretly recorded six women using the facility, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer and Brick Police Chief James Riccio announced on Thursday morning.

Michael Mattina, 54, is accused of then posting videos of all six women, including one who is 16-years old, in the bathroom to two adult websites.

He has been charged with with five counts of Invasion of Privacy for recording the videos, six counts of Invasion of Privacy for posting the videos and Distribution of Obscene Materials.

Prosecutor Billhimer and Chief Riccio announced additional charges for his video of a 16-year old girl that he posted to the internet as well.

Mattina is also being charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Manufacturing Child Pornography and Distribution of Child Pornography.

He has been processed at Brick Township Police Headquarters and was released on a summons pending a future court appearance.

Prosecutor Billhimer and Chief Riccio commended the work of the Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit for their cooperative assistance in the investigation.
