Marathon Will Close Part of Route 539 Saturday

Between 8:30am and 1pm Saturday, a section of Route 539 between Route 70 and Route 528 in Manchster will be closed for a marathon.

Captain Jack Sramaty of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said detours will be set up for drivers to get around the area.

From South: Detour at Route 70: Route 70 East to left onto Route 547 (South Hope Chapel Road) to left onto Route 528.

From North: Detour at Route 528: turn left onto Route 528, then right onto Route 547, then right onto Route 70 West.
