Normally we would talk about the WINNER of any big competition first. But in this situation, we have to talk about Ocean County's OWN Martin Truex Jr, and his heartbreaking loss in yesterday's Daytona 500.
In case you didn't know, Martin Truex Jr, graduated Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin back in 1998. Truex Jr. lost the Daytona 500 yesterday by the closest margin EVER! 0.010 seconds.
The Jersey Shore was rooting hard for Truex yesterday!
Ok. So now...Congratulations to Denny Hamlin!!! Winner of the 2016 Daytona 500. The ending was absolutely insane.
