Loud Booms Coming From Joint Base Throughout November
It looks like things are going to get pretty loud this once again this month at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst
Normally where I live in Toms River, I don't usually hear the explosions coming from the base, but things seemed louder than normal in October because I recall hearing booms a few times last month from my house
Joint Base posts a "Noise Level" calendar each month, and according to the calendar, Thursday, November 12th through Sunday, November 15th, and then Thursday, November 19th through Monday, November 23rd expect an "abundant" amount of noise
For the rest of November, you can expect "slight" to "moderate" amount of noise. I like how they show the type of weapons that will be used that creates the level of explosions. The calendar is very informative.
Since most towns around the Jersey Shore canceled their 4th of July celebrations this year due to COVID-19, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst might as well do it up good throughout November and get as loud as possible. Some people call the booms and explosions coming from the base, "The Sounds of Freedom"
I like it!!!
