I love when we all start coming together to help out other humans.

So many people are organizing and helping people in Ukraine during this crisis and when I read about a local Red Bank restaurant doing their part I wanted to highlight them.

Birravino restaurant located at 183 Riverside Ave., will be donating proceeds from their March 31 sales to a charity devoted to the Ukraine crisis.  This is a great reason for you to grab your friends and co-workers and make sure you support the cause.

Chef Jose Andres' World Central Kitchen Charity, has a mission of feeding those in need both locally and globally.

They are on the ground serving meals to those in need throughout Eastern Europe and even more impressive, I read that they have also partnered with restaurants in Ukraine to keep people who have stayed fed.

By eating at Birravino on March 31st, you will be able to eat wonderful food, help this very important cause with 20% of the proceeds going to the charity and there will be additional ways to donate with 100% of the donations going directly to a local family affected by this crisis. Read more about it here.

I'm so grateful for people who organize and use their talents to help our brothers and sisters in need.  The images of this crisis are heartbreaking but I did realize that in every tragedy we see the beacon of light that is hope, compassion, kindness, and grace.

Please consider helping however you can and I would say locally is a fantastic start.  Thank you Birravino for leading the way with hometown help abroad!
