Lakewood Man Charged with Soliciting Child Sex

The state attorney general’s office says a New Jersey man has been charged with sexual solicitation of a child.

Twenty-six-year-old Christopher Ginelli of Lakewood, N.J. was arrested Thursday. He was released on $60,000 secured bail.

Authorities say Ginelli had multiple online chat sessions with an undercover detective posing as a 13-year-old girl. An investigation showed Ginelli was communicating from Widener University School of Law, where he is a student.

Officials executed a search on Ginelli’s dorm room and seized a laptop and digital media.
