Kismet Bagels Is Closing Its Ventnor, NJ Location After Just One Summer

Bagels and Jersey go together like peanut butter and jelly. It just makes sense, and the bagels you get in Jersey are like nothing you can get anywhere else. They're warm, fluffy on the inside, crisp on the outside, and are packed full of flavor. Plus, when you top it off with a healthy layer of smear, you're in heaven.

Anytime I leave Jersey for a weekend away, I always try to find a bagel spot for breakfast that can at least come semi-close to a bagel I can get in Jersey, and it doesn't happen very often.

You Can Find Some Pretty Amazing Bagels At A Store In Philadelphia, PA

That is, with one exception. There's a place in Fishtown, which is a small area in Philadelphia that my friends and I like to hang out in for long weekends away in the summer, and off East Girard Avenue, there's a little bagel shop called Kismet Bagel.

They may be the best bagel shop in the Philadelphia area.

So when Kismet Bagel opened a location at the Jersey Shore last summer, I was very excited.

Kismet Bagel spent last summer operating a location off Ventnor Avenue, and while I would have thought they'd be there for the long haul, because their bagels are just that good, it looks like that won't be the case.

According to NJ.com, Kismet Bagel has announced that after just one summer at the Shore, they'll be closing down the location in Ventnor.

Now, that doesn't mean you still can't get Kismet Bagel in Jersey; they have a location in Collingswood that you can enjoy. But I'd reccomend making the trip to Fishtown, and checking them out in the City of Brotherly Love.
