There's nothing worse than seeing another closure in the Garden State.

It's something that we seem to be seeing more and more frequently too, which is never a great sign.

And just last month it was revealed that Bob's Stores is closing its location in the Freehold Raceway Mall.

Asbury Park is also home to a lot of really cool and unique pizza places like Talula's, Capitoline, and even R-Bar has a really good custom pie.

One of my favorite pizza places though, was Killer Pies.

They opened a few years ago and had, as the name implies, killer pizza.

It was on the thinner side which I don't always like, but I was a fan of this place.

According to APP, Killer Pies is officially closed, and the announcement was confirmed on Killer Pies' social media accounts.

I'll be sad to see this place go, any time a really cool local establishment has to close its doors it's never great.

Now, if this means you have to find a new place to grab pizza, these are a few of the places in Jersey that Dave Portnoy would recommend.
