Something sweet is coming to Asbury Park, and I can't wait to check it out. It's going to feature two of my wife's and my favorite things: fresh coffee and homemade gelato.

But back to this coffee and gelato shop that's getting ready to open, it started off, like a lot of businesses around the shore do, as a mobile food truck, and is now getting ready to open an actual storefront!

Java And Gelato Is Opening A Brick-And-Mortar Location

According to social media, it looks like Java and Gelato will be opening a brick-and-mortar location off 4th Avenue.

Java and Gelato is a part of the Plaza Coffee House brand, which was founded by Sal Russo in 1982 and has, over the years, grown into a thriving coffee business.

When And Where Will Java And Gelato Open In Asbury Park, NJ?

Java and Gelato will be located at 711 4th Avenue in Asbury Park, and at this point in time, we don't have an actual opening date for the new business, but I can't wait to check these guys out. I'm hoping they make affogatos!
