Great Meals Available in the Atlantic City, NJ Area [Opinion]

The Atlantic City, New Jersey area has some of the finest restaurants in America. This includes both casino and non-casino restaurants.

In this article, we will share a few of our favorites and then directly below is a wonderful photo gallery, featuring many outstanding meals that are available at great restaurants in the Atlantic City, New Jersey area.

WE MISS ALAN ANGELONI

As a show of respect, our gallery below includes Alan Angeloni, who owned and operated his legendary restaurant for 42 years.

Angeloni’s Braciole was the best in Atlantic City. It was Alan Angeloni's interpretation of this thinly sliced meat that is rolled into what is known as a roulade. It's also called involtini in Italian. Angeloni used veal and not flank steak, beef, pork, chicken or even swordfish that others turn to. It made Angeloni's unique and the best.

MY FAVORITE MEAL IN THE ATLANTIC CITY AREA

The winner is:

Steve and Cookies, “Seafood Pan Roast.” In my humble estimation, it is the perfect meal. Here’s why:

It consists of a lobster tail, 2 shrimp, 2 scallops and a wonderful portion of jumbo lump crab meat. It literally consists of my absolute seafood favorites all at one time. It is always prepared to perfection and the portions are very generous. Spoil yourself with this wonderful meal, which we believe is Steve & Cookies best!

It is my Daughter Kristin’s favorite meal, who introduced it to me.

THE BEST CRAB BISQUE EVER MADE

The Crab Trap in Somers Point has earned the above comment.

The texture and taste of their crab bisque soap is sheer perfection.

CAPRICCIO ITALIAN RESTAURANT AT RESORTS CASINO HOTEL ATLANTIC CITY

Pictured below in our photo gallery is one of their absolute best meals … “Vitello (Veal) Romero," an amazing creation that was developed by Jorge Romero, the beloved decades-long General Manager of Capriccio Italian Restaurant. Jorge passed away on February 15, 2021 and is missed by family, friends and colleagues.
