Early Morning Vandalism at Ocean Putt
Cops in Cape May are looking for those who may be responsible for damage at a popular mini-golf course.
According to the department, at about 4:00 on the morning of Sunday, September 7th, individuals unlawfully entered the Ocean Putt Miniature Golf Course at Jackson Street and Beach Avenue.
Humpty Dumpty Figure Damaged
Authorities say one suspect was seen climbing the fence on Jackson Street and damaging the iconic vintage Humpty Dumpty figure by forcibly removing it from the structure where it was mounted.
The suspect then took Humpty Dumpty from the property and dumped it further down Jackson Street.
Video Footage Released
Cape May Police Department detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying those seen in video clips that were posted to Facebook.
