Atlantic City, NJ, Police: Woman Gave Cops False ID of Person With Warrants

An Atlantic City woman was arrested after she allegedly gave police false information about her identity -- and that was just the beginning of her problems.

At around 2:30 AM on Sunday, November 12th, the Atlantic City Police Department says two of their officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in the first block of North Missouri Avenue.

Police say the driver, who was eventually identified as 34-year-old Natasha Miller of Atlantic City, gave the officers a New Jersey identification card for a family member who was a close resemblance.

The problem was that family member had several outstanding warrants and a suspended driver's license.

Miller was arrested without incident based on those warrants.

Police say she was found to be in possession of 132 individual bags of heroin, more than 50 grams of cocaine, and more than $2,600.

As she was processed, Miller was fingerprinted and her true identity was revealed. She, herself, did not have any active warrants.

Miller has been charged with two counts of possession of CDS, two counts of possession of CDS with intent to distribute, money laundering, and hindering apprehension. She was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
