Look at him now! Remember New Jersey Little League star Big Al?
Back in 2018, Middletown, N.J. Little Leaguer Alfred Delia made national news when he introduced himself on ESPN TV to a nationwide audience during the teams journey to the Little League World Series.
The team won the New Jersey state championship, heading to the regional tournament, but fell short of making it to Williamsport. However, Delia provided one of the more memorable Little League moments.
“Hi, my name is Alfred Delia. At home they call me Big Al, and I hit dingers.”
The clip went viral and Big Al became a media star, including an appearance on Late Night shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live!, meeting MLB players and signing autographs at the age of 12.
So where is he now?

A much slimmer Delia is now a high school senior at Red Bank Catholic in New Jersey and is still hitting dingers and will hopefully being doing so in college.
He hit a home run on Opening Day for Red Bank Catholic's 7-2 win over Rumson-Fair Haven.
"They don't even call me that anymore. I'm not that big," said Delia in a post-game interview with Jersey Sports Zone.
"The legend continues," said Delia's coach.
The senior has committed to play at Felician University in in Rutherford, N.J.
