Little League world Series

“Hi, my name is Alfred Delia. At home they call me Big Al, and I hit dingers.”

Once again the kids from Toms River East are thrilling their fans and family as they continue another successful Little League season.

They'll need the tight and crisp defense and stellar pitching exhibited in the victory Wednesday to be present in their battle with New York on Friday night, six days after falling to that very same team 6-3 in extra innings in the first game of the Metro Regional Tournament.

These days it seems more and more people are looking for something to make themselves feel better, something to rally behind and cheer on. Tonight may be the night to do just that for us here at the Jersey Shore.

Toms River East authored another late-game rally and defeated Connecticut, 11-4, to advance in the Little League World Series.

They will be honored this Friday, October 30th in Seaside Heights with a free day on the beach and boardwalk.

The game was stopped in the first inning for the rain but then Holbrook from Jackson scored three runs in the second and nine in the third for the win.

Congratulations to the Holbrook Little League Team from Jackson, NJ!! They are moving on to the Little League World Series. This past Saturday night, they beat the team from Thurmont, MD 8-3 to win the Little League Mid-Atlantic Championship to move on to Williamsport...

The twelve-year-olds from Jackson, New Jersey keep on rolling. They are now 3-0 in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament. With one more win this weekend, they move on to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa This afternoon, Holbrook beat the Oaks, Pennsylvania team 10-6 to move on to the Mid Atlantic Championship game on Saturday at 7p (Opponent TBD)  

Chris Cartnick’s grand slam in the bottom of the 5th inning snapped a 6-6 tie and powered Holbrook Little League (Jackson) to a dramatic 10-6 victory over the Pennsylvania champion Upper Providence Little League in Bristol, Connecticut Wednesday afternoon.

Once again there is some Little League Baseball excitement happening here on the Jersey Shore, and this time it involves the Holbrook Little League team from Jackson, NJ! This Summer, they won the NJ State Championship and are now playing in the Mid Atlantic Regional Tournament in Bristol, CT...

Toms River native, and Former Cincinnati Reds, and now Chicago White Sox Third Baseman Todd Frazier,  is giving back to kids in New Jersey. Along with his brothers Charlie, and Jeff, they have started "Frazier Baseball" where they can teach kids the fundamentals about playing baseball, and also teaching them about succeeding in life as well...
