Teams of 10-, 11-, and 12-year-olds battle through district, state, and regional tournaments for the opportunity to play in Greenville, North Carolina, where a world championship is on the line.

The tournament has been bringing together talented players since 1974, and it's amazing to see the skill, heart, and determination these kids bring to the field. From big home runs to incredible catches and unforgettable finishes, there's always something exciting happening.

Toms River Little League Softball is now a step away from getting to the Little League Softball World Series. Following their exciting win over New York on Wednesday night, following an in-the-park home run by TR player Briella Bognar. Toms River beat the New York team 3-2 and now advance to tonight's game against Pennsylvania with a chance to go to the World Series in North Carolina.

A team from New Jersey won the Little League Softball World Series in 2014. Robbinsville Little League, Robbinsville, New Jersey, was the winner 12 years ago.
