It's so sad when of these animals we are so used to seeing, passes away.

Every time we'd visit the Popcorn Park Rescue Zoo we would look for the tigers. Eli was our favorite. He was there with his sister Jess.

Eli has been with the zoo for about 8 years and he was always so playful. I will miss him and I know my daughter will, also.

Thanks to the Popcorn Park Animal Refuge Facebook page, Eli's health declined in recent weeks, leading to decreased mobility and discomfort. It's always sad to say, "goodbye", especially for the veterinarians and Eli's caretakers.

Eli arrived at Popcorn Park in 2016 along with his sister Jess. Eli loved sunbathing, and playing with Jess. He was gentle and playful and touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Eli will be missed, but his time at the Popcorn Park Zoo raised awareness and love for endangered tigers. RIP Big guy.

We all know how loved and how much wonderful care each and every animal that comes to Popcorn Park Zoo gets. It's amazing the incredible people they have working and volunteering at the zoo.

Remember you can always sponsor any animal you choose with the Associated Humane Society, you'll be helping out with so many animals and their needs. I remember when my daughter Abby was younger we sponsored a cat at the shelter at Popcorn Park, it was a lot of fun. We visited with her a lot and got to play with her in their fabulous cat room. It is something your kids will remember.
