Coming up this weekend another great summer destination in New Jersey will open to the public. The amazing Island Waterpark at the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City will open Friday (June 30th). This indoor waterpark looks to have something for everyone.

While AC has long been known as a playground for grown-ups, the new waterpark introduces a whole new type of family entertainment on the boardwalk. It is the largest beachfront, indoor waterpark in the world and the glass retractable roof–a first of its kind–allows for summer fun regardless of the weather or time of year.

At night, the entire waterpark transforms into an adults-only nightlife venue with DJ entertainment

The park’s unique retractable and projectable roof allows for ample sunshine and fresh ocean breezes during the warmer months but can be closed during inclement and colder weather for year-round enjoyment of the waterpark.

So as you can see this new hot spot, the Island Waterpark at Showboat, will be a fun destination and it opens Friday, June 30th. I think this is definitely I place I need to check out. To be honest it sounds like a really cool place to visit all year round, even when there is snow on the beach, you can head indoors to a place like Island Waterpark for lots of fun and great exercise too.
