Christmas bells are ringing early at Starbucks.

It seems like the holidays come sooner each year.  Last week I saw stores in the mall putting out Christmas decorations before it was even Halloween!  One place was already preparing for Santa's arrival.  But how soon is too soon?

I'm personally conflicted on this one.  After the difficult past couple of years we've all had, we could always use some holiday cheer.  But I also don't want to bypass Thanksgiving, and completely move forward from the spookiness of Halloween while there's still an autumn chill in the air.

And now that the pumpkin craze has ended (for some people...), coffee shops and restaurants and are adding holiday items to their menus.  That being said, I understand the excitement surrounding seasonal menu items, since they're only around for a limited time.

Starbucks announced that holiday cups and menu items will be back starting tomorrow, November 3rd.  The limited edition holiday drinks will be the same from last year, but the coffee shop did announce they're adding some new seasonal foods.

What's on Starbucks' Holiday Menu for 2022?

Drinks returning to the Starbucks Holiday Menu are: The Peppermint Mocha Latte, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, The Irish Cream Cold Brew, and the Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte.

Per Starbucks, Reindeer Cake Pops, Sugar Plum Cheese Danishes, Cranberry Bliss Bars, and Snowman Cookies will also be making their way back to stores, but they'll be joined by the latest menu addition for 2022: The Chocolate Pistachio Swirl.

Here's the official description from Starbucks:

The NEW Chocolate Pistachio Swirl’s creamy chocolate filling with notes of cinnamon and coffee is swirled into buttery brioche-inspired dough with mint chocolate chips and topped with chopped pistachios.

Okay...maybe with menu items as delicious as this, I can get on board with starting Christmas a little early.
