The Witches of Spring Lake “Paddle For A Cause” 2026
If you’re in Spring Lake in the fall and suddenly see a bunch of witches paddling across the lake, don’t worry, it’s all for a good cause!
The Witches of Spring Lake Paddle for a Cause is an annual charity event where participants dress up in their best witch and Halloween costumes, grab their paddle boards and take to the water.
What started as a fun way to bring people together has grown into a popular Jersey Shore tradition that also raises money for local charities.

It’s Halloween, paddle boarding and giving back — all rolled into one pretty cool Spring Lake event!
This year's event is Saturday, October 10th at 10 am. This year's charity is Blue Dot Community, the Jersey Shore's community connection project.
Blue Dot Project describes itself as "A community-based wellness initiative at the Jersey Shore promoting meaningful, authentic opportunities for people with and without disabilities to connect with one another and find a sense of belonging within their local community through therapeutic experiences that promote joy, kindness, resilience, and overall health and well-being."

Can’t paddle? No problem! Come on out and cheer on nearly 200 witches and warlocks as they hit the water and raise money for this amazing organization!
I may have to witness this Halloween event for a good cause, for myself, and head over on Saturday. If you do go, be sure to share your "witch" pics if you go and Happy Halloween, and thanks for supporting a great cause.
