Garlic?! New Jersey Reveals Their Go-To Cold Remedies
Cold and flu season is here, and it feels like just about everyone knows someone fighting off some nasty bug.
While out and about in New Jersey, you're probably hearing a lot of coughing, sniffling, sneezing, and voices that sound a little scratchy. I've been dealing with it myself!
My voice has been hoarse for more than a week now, and I can't seem to shake it.

Of course, it's always best to go see a doctor, which I did, but when it comes to a cold, no antibiotic is going to magically make you feel better.
I was talking with a friend who told me he chews on garlic when he has a cold!
Yes, GARLIC!
He said it's a great home remedy because garlic has anti-inflammatory properties.
It got me thinking about other home remedies that you swear by that may have been passed on for generations in your family, or something you heard of from a friend, that actually seemed to work.
