Is Toys R Us Coming Back To NJ?

Just in time for Halloween, Toys R Us may be coming back from the dead!

Papers have been filed to cancel the auction of the company's assets, including the brand names of Toys R Us, Babies “R” Us, registry lists, website domains, and Geoffrey the Giraffe.

It was about a year ago that the bankruptcy filings were announced, which led to huge liquidation sales, and unfortunately the loss of jobs for countless employees.

There are no confirmed reports of which locations will reopen, or even when they'll be open, but we'll keep you updated when we find anything out! It seems a lot to ask for the stores to be open in time for the holiday season, but maybe a few spots (or even just some online shopping) could be ready to go. Personally I'd be happy just to see the return of Babies R Us, because a lot of what we got for Baby Varacchi came from there.
