Much of New Jersey is waiting patiently to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. With only five days into the new year, a ton of progress is being made.

Shoprite announced that Monday that select pharmacy locations in the state will be administering the Moderna vaccine. Tuesday, the State introduced an online pre-registration system.

Like most rollouts, there were bugs in the beginning. The Department of Health is saying many of the holdups were due to high volume.

So, how does it work?

First responders and frontline workers will be the first to be vaccinated. The State is still encouraging those in that group to pre-register.

**Even if you're not a frontline worker or first responder you can still pre-register.

I went through the process myself and it took less than 10 minutes. Here's how to do it.
