Help Save The Saint!

The Saint opened in November 1994, and has hosted over 300 shows a year since then. I have a great personal connection to The Saint; my college radio station used to put on shows there, my old bands have played there, I've seen fantastic intimate gigs and met a few of my favorite artists there.

Keeping local music venues like this alive is extremely important. There are tons of bands that are either just starting out,  or older bands that are still out touring to make a living that don't garner the attention to play the bigger venues. Asbury Lanes are undergoing a renovation that is rumored to be an omen of a dramatic shift in who they book. The Stone Pony still brings in big names, The Wonderbar does great for the local community, but venues like these are an endangered species.
