Every month on 105.7 The Hawk, we highlight a local Jersey Shore or New Jersey hero. Our recent Hawk Hero was Maryanna Fasy from Little Egg Harbor. Maryanna Fasy is the cook at the George J. Mitchell Elementary School. It takes a special person to feed hundreds of kids on a daily basis. Her patience, selflessness, and dedication are unmatched. Once again, a 'Thank You' and congratulations to Maryanna! This time around there are two Hawk Heroes, a father-daughter duo from Vineland, New Jersey. Miguel and Illiana Figuero's are wonderful people and thanks to Sam Santos, here's their story:

Miguel and Illiana created a pop-culture review channel to inspire kids with Autism and Special needs. They have been blowing up all over the news and do all types of charity and volunteer work throughout all of New Jersey and Philadelphia. Miguel started the show when his daughter thought she couldn't be on YouTube because of her Autism. Since then, they have over 70 million views and numerous celebrity guest that come on the show. Miguel and Illiana do so much community work that they received the points of Light award that was founded by George w Bush Sr for outstanding community service. Illiana just received top 30 under 30 Latino leaders in New Jersey and was the youngest one in group. They are so inspiring and amazing and are constantly breaking barriers.

Miguel and Illiana's YouTube channel is called ToyQuest101 and it's totally worth watching. Their channel is dedicated to statue & toy reviews, commentary & celebrity guest interviews, but more importantly, it empowers other children like Illiana to accomplish their goals.
