It's crazy to think that we have not had any sports since the middle of March. Major league baseball shut down Spring Training days before the regular season was supposed to begin.

The closest thing we have had to professional sports is the NFL draft.

The NHL has announced this week that they are planning on getting hockey started very soon and will resume playing with the top twenty-four teams when the season game to a halt. No word exactly when the playoffs will start

According to the NHL:

The NHL announced its Return to Play Plan on Tuesday with 24 teams in competition for the Stanley Cup. The tournament will begin with a 16-team, eight-series Qualifying Round and a Seeding Round Robin among the top four teams in each conference to determine seeds for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Sorry NJ Devils fans....You didn't make the cut. The Flyers, Islanders, and New York Rangers will be playing playoff hockey.
