This Long Awaited Burger Joint Is Finally Ready To Open In Ocean County, NJ

So we all know that the old Perkins off 37 has been sitting vacant for a while, and then the rumor mill started to swirl as to what was going to replace it.

Personally, I was hoping we'd get something similar to Perkins, another great little place to grab a quick breakfast.

We know now that that's not quite the case.

Freddy's Custard And Steakburger Is Coming To Toms River, NJ

This may not seem like news, but we've had a pretty good idea that a Freddy's was coming to Toms River for quite some time.

This Freddy's looks like it'll be pretty massive as well, it's going to have a large indoor seating area and also features a double drive-through.

How they keep straight what food goes where blows my mind!

If you're not totally familiar with Freddy's Custard and Steakburger, it's a burger chain that's growing in popularity and features the famous Steakburger.

It's a thinly pressed patty stacked with toppings and is made fresh to order.

The Big Question Is When Is The Freddy's In Toms River Going To Open?

It's a long time coming, but APP reports that the new burger chain will be open 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, and on Friday and Saturday it'll stay open until 11 PM.

It also looks as though Freddy's Custard and Steakburger will open its doors on Wednesday this week!

I'm looking forward to this place opening, I've heard a lot of good things about it in the past few months and am excited to try a Steakburger.

I've heard a few people voice concerns about it possibly overshadowing local burger joints, but frankly, I don't see that happening.
