Mark Your Calendar for Saturday, October 24th, because the Forked River Fire Company is holding its annual Food Truck and Fire Pit Festival from 5 p.m to 10 p.m at 127 Oak St in Forked River.

Hopefully, it will be a little warmer than last year when the festival took place in early November and temperatures was only in the mid 30's. (But I guess that is why they have fire pits there...For that very reason)

Come out and enjoy fire pits, music, cold beer, wine, & snacks! Food Trucks will be available for additional purchases. $25 Adults and Kids are Free!

Last year was the first time Forked River Fire Company did the Food Truck and Fire Pit Festival and it  looked like a lot of fun, so I'm sure this year will be even bigger and better

Did I mention how cold last year was? Oh yeah, I did...That's why they have the fire pits.

October is really a great time off the year on the Jersey Shore. There is so much to do. Normally if we weren't dealing with a pandemic there would pretty much be some sort of festival to go to every weekend.

We also get those random beach days in October by surprise where it's time to hit the boardwalks and boats once again.

And of course, there are so many Halloween activities going on up and down the Jersey Shore. We have plenty of them listed right here on our app and website. Just scroll through the app, they are easy to find!

Check out this video from last year's Food Truck and Fire Pit Festival.
