Fantastic Places at the Jersey Shore That Made The Must Visit List Here in New Jersey
There is a recent article by Vacation Idea and in it they list “23 Best Places to Visit in New Jersey” and we celebrate because five of those BEST places are located right here in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.
Yes among some of the BEST places to take a trip to here in the Garden State we have two locations from Monmouth County and three from Ocean County. So let’s break down the five from here in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.

Asbury Park - Monmouth County
One of our iconic spots here at the Jersey Shore that is probably known throughout the nation, at least east coast lol is AsburyPark.
Allaire State Park - Monmouth County
A historic and beautiful park in the Wall Township area. Plenty to do for the entire family.
Island Beach State Park - Ocean County
One of the premiere beaches in New Jersey every summer is beautiful Island Beach State Park.
Barnegat Lighthouse State Park - Ocean County
The famous “Old Barney” is a must see and climb here in Ocean County on beautiful Long Beach Island.
Seaside Heights - Ocean County
Known for its iconic boardwalk and beaches, Seaside Heights is on the must visit list when in New Jersey.
Personally I have been to all of the five places on this list here in Ocean and Monmouth Counties. If you haven’t I highly recommend you do, I also recommend doing it in June as opposed to February lol.
