Exciting ‘Stranger Things’ Experience Set For ‘Secret’ NY Locale

After 3 successful seasons on Netflix and a 4th on the way, Stranger Things is one of the most popular shows out and their fans are truly passionate. The show has brought back the things so many people loved in the 80s, like fashions and the paranormal. Before we get into particulars, I hope you know that Gaten (lower left in the picture above) is a Jersey Shore native.  He was raised in Little Egg Harbor Township and attended Pinelands Regional High School in Tuckerton. He plays Dustin in Stranger Things and is my favorite character. His mix of energy and heart jumps out at you. Now, if you are a fan of the show I can bet you'll be excited to hear about this limited-time event.

What is the "Stranger Things: The Experience?"

It's an opportunity for you, friends, and family (13+) to dive into Hawkins Lab for an "immersive experience." You'll step into sets from the show, you'll encounter characters from the show, and more. As their website explains, "strange things are happening once again. Only the bravest guests are invited to discover the secrets within the walls of the lab. There may be occasional testing, analysis, or psych evaluation. Don’t worry it’s safe... perfectly safe..."  Besides time in the lab, there's a whole bunch of pop-culture pieces from the show to explore. It's called "the Mix-Tape Area." It sounds really cool.  "Enjoy immersive photo ops, engaging interactivity, delicious food and drink themed from the show, and a one-of-a-kind Stranger Things Bar..." There are 2 versions, one in New York and one in San Francisco, California.  The specific locations are a secret, like Hawkins Lab.  As they say, "the gate to the upside down will be revealed soon."
