The Eagles defensive coordinator has interviewed for three different jobs, Minnesota, Denver and Houston.

The Broncos hired former Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

The Eagles’ defensive coordinator joined Philadelphia in 2021 after spending time on Frank Reich's staff in Indianapolis as a defensive backs coach.

Gannon first started coaching in the NFL in 2005 as an assistant defensive backs coach with the San Francisco 49ers. He was promoted to the lead defensive backs coach the next year, holding that position for five seasons.

Philadelphia's defense finishing ninth against the run (107.9), 10th in overall yards per game (328.8) and 18th in points (22.6) during Gannon's first year.

He is said to have “knocked it out of the park” in his interviews and has strong ties to Texans general manager Nick Caserio, making him strong candidate for the Houston job.
