What do you call the night before Halloween?

Growing up, I always knew it as "Mischief Night", when gangs of rowdy teenagers would TP trees, throw eggs at houses, and other sort of mostly-harmless vandalism. Occasionally you'd hear the stories of someone blowing up mailboxes with a cherry bomb or M80, but for the most part it was just simple kid stuff.

Apparently, this is something that a majority of the country is clueless to. According to this graphic from Huffington Post, most states don't have any nickname for "Halloween Eve".

The blue spot in New Jersey/Philadelphia/Delaware/that tiny spot in west Connecticut represents people who use the term "Mischief Night", while the green that covers the mitten of Michigan goes with "Devil's Night." Interestingly, the only time I've heard of "Devil's Night" is from The Crow, which was set in Detroit.

All of that red that takes up the rest of the country (for some reason excluding Alaska and Hawaii) has no word for the night before Halloween. Did you grow up in another state? Is the night before Halloween devoid of activity, or do kids still pull pranks, just without an official title? Inquiring minds want to know!
