Did You Know Elvis Was Discharged At McGuire AFB?

The story of Elvis Presley being drafted is one of those iconic moments in American history. Before yesterday, I had no idea that he was officially discharged right here in NJ at what was then McGuire Air Force Base.

That is such a cool piece of history! It's a unique combination of music history, military history, and just American history in general.
