After nearly 6 decades, another iconic New Jersey diner has closed its doors for good, and something new will be getting ready to move into its place.

The closure of classic Jersey diners over the past few months has been nothing short of devastating.

The Cherry Hill Diner suddenly closed last year and has plans to become a car wash.

You can read more on that here.

More recently, one of my co-workers noticed that the Forked River Diner was for sale, and the fate of that diner is still unknown.

Here's what we know so far about the Forked River Diner.

It's always sad to see these diners announce they are closing up shop for good especially when they've had a long run.

Diners are just part of what makes Jersey special, and now another diner is getting ready to add its name to the list of closures.

The Diamond Diner Announced That It Is Closing

After being family-owned by the Diamantis family in Hainesport New Jersey since 1967, NJ.com reports the diner has officially closed its doors for good.

Thus ending its nearly 6-decade run.

Just because the Diamond Diner is closing its doors though, doesn't mean the building isn't going to be put to good use, as another diner believe it or not!

Pandora Management Is Taking Over The Diamond Diner

I'll be honest, I've never heard of Pandora Diners but NJ.com reports they currently operate three locations in the Garden State.

The Diamond Diner will be closed for renovations for the next couple of months, and will soon reopen as the Pandora Diner in Hainseport, NJ.

Despite another closure of a classic NJ diner, Jersey still has a ton of amazing diners that you need to check out.
