Once again Dairy Queen is continuing its annual tradition of giving away free ice cream cones on the first day of spring.

On March 19, participating Dairy Queen locations across New Jersey will celebrate Free Cone Day by giving customers a free, small, vanilla soft-serve cone.

Dairy Queen will also be raising money for Children’s Specialized Hospital.

According to the Children's Specialized Hospital website:

Dairy Queen locations are doing something extra special for the kids treated at Childrens Specialized Hospital with Dip it for Kids. When you agree to dip your free cone for $1, that $1 will be donated to help sick kids in New Jersey, receiving services at Children’s Specialized Hospital.

The Dairy Queen on Fischer Blvd in Toms River, and on Rt. 9 in Bayville will be participating in the "Dip it for Kids" promotion
