Of all the things you'd think you'd have to worry about in Jersey, Coyote attacks were not on my 'worry list' for the year.

Higher taxes? Sure. Increased grocery prices? Yup. But coyote attacks? Absolutely not.

A Woman In Woodcliff, NJ Was Attacked By A Coyote On Monday

Firstly, on Monday, a housekeeper in Woodcliff, New Jersey, was outside with the family dog in the backyard of the house she was working at.

According to ABC, the woman was bitten several times, and the dog was able to get away without any injuries.

Fortunately, in this case, someone ran up while the woman was being attacked by the coyote, scared it off, and helped get the woman medical attention.

She'll need rabies shots.

Another Coyote Attack Was Reported A Day Later In Saddle Brook, NJ

Then, just a day later in Saddle Brook, a similar story popped up.

A person was working in their yard when, out of nowhere, a coyote knocked the person to the ground and started biting them, according to ABC 7.

That coyote was described as a visibly sickly animal that had no fear of humans, which was later euthanized by animal control.

I'm not sure what's causing coyotes to all of a sudden decide to start attacking people like this, but it's mildly alarming.
