There has been plenty of speculation about veteran quarterbacks changing zip codes this offseason. One of those veterans that there have been whispers about is Seattle signal caller Russell Wilson.

While Philadelphia's brass has stood behind current starter Jalen Hurts, saying that he will be the teams starter in 2022, but that doesn't mean that Howie Roseman wouldn't jump on an opportunity if it arose.

While I'm told that a trade of Wilson is "Its the most ridiculous story I've covered in 50 years of covering the NFL," by veteran NFL reporter John Clayton from 710 ESPN in Seattle.

So could Wilson be traded? Sure.

So if he were to be moved, where could he land?  Well it seems that Philadelphia would make the most sense, at least to Albert Breer from Sports Illustrated.

If I had to guess, I’d say he’ll eventually get moved. And I’d have said the destination was going to be the Saints a month ago. Now that Sean Payton’s gone, let’s put him in the NFC East … to the Eagles. In a way, it’d be a sort of redemptive move for Howie Roseman, who was part of a front office that planned to take Wilson in the third round in 2012, only to have Seattle scoop him up earlier in the round.

Now what would the Eagles have to give up to get Wilson?  They have 3 first-round picks and pick 54 in round two, that could help start the conversation with Seattle. However, its no slam dunk that the Seahawks want to start over, especially with 70-year old Pete Carroll returning as head coach.

Is Carroll going to want to start over with a new quarterback in the later years of his coaching career, or take another run with his longtime franchise quarterback.

With Roseman in charge, you know if Wilson is available, the Eagles will do their due diligence, but I'd say the chances this happening are remote.
