Casino Pier Carousel Takes Final Ride This Weekend

A throwback to the glory days of Seaside Heights, the Casino Pier Carousel has been an icon for decades.

Built in 1910, the carousel found a home in Seaside Heights in 1932 and has been there ever since.

The Casino Pier Arcade and Carousel will be open Saturday and Sunday, after which the ride will remain shut down inside the arcade until the fall when it is moved into storage.

There is still hope that the town will hold on to the carousel and move it to a different location - we'll be sure to let you know when/if.
