Brick Police found nearly 100 ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and a BB gun inside of a car they simply pulled over for a broken headlight and taillight outside of the AutoZone on Chambers Bridge Road.

Officers spotted a Jeep Cherokee pull out of entrance to the parking lot at 11:30 pm Friday night after sitting there talking with the driver of a BMW SUV.

When the driver of the Cherokee, Romeo Sharrier, 25, Newark pulled out of the AutoZone parking lot, police spotted his lights out and pulled him over as he was going into the 711 parking lot.

Sharrier and his passengers Oscar Euceda, 18, Atlantic City couldn't put together a story on what happened or what they wanted police think happened with the BMW they were seen with in the AutoZone parking lot.

The inconsistent answers they provided gave police probable cause to search the Cherokee after spotting drugs inside the vehicle.

The Brick Police Street Crimes Unit then arrived on scene and discovered some contraband including several glass smoking pipes with crack residue, empty wax folds used to store heroin, approximately 100 pills suspected to be ecstasy and a BB gun pistol.

They also found several plastic gloves in the vehicle.

Police also found the other vehicle, a BMW SUV, unoccupied, but running and a check of the license plate revealed that the vehicle was stolen.

Sharrier and Euceda were then arrested.

Sharrier was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of s Weapon, Possession of Paraphernalia, 2 Counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, in addition to several motor vehicle summonses.

He was lodged in Ocean County Jail.

Euceda was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Paraphernalia, 2 Counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.

He was lodged in Ocean County Jail.
