Big Dogs Cafe Has Found A New Home In Toms River, NJ

So seriously, what is going on with Big Dogs Cafe in Toms River?

If you're not familiar with Big Dogs, it's had quite the history in Toms River over the past two years or so.

Back in January of 2023, we learned that Big Dogs Cafe was getting ready to open its first location off 37 headed toward Seaside Heights.

It was replacing Chomp, which had been a staple near the shore for years.

Then not too long after Big Dogs Toms River location opened up, it was announced that they were expanding to Bayville.

Big Dogs was moving into the old Grub City of Route 9, a great location if you ask me!

Things seemed to be looking up for Big Dogs, and honestly, I was a fan of this place. I thought the food was good and they had a decent variety on the menu.

Then all of a sudden, seemingly out of nowhere, Big Dogs closed both their Toms River and Bayville locations.

This was kind of a shock, it was completely out of nowhere and had a lot of people scratching their heads asking "What happened?"

Big Dogs Cafe May Be Reopening In Toms River, NJ

Driving into Seaside Heights yesterday with my wife for a day at the beach, I noticed that there was a big coming soon sign featuring the iconic Big Dogs Cafe logo.

It looks like Big Dogs is getting ready to make a return to the Jersey Shore in a new location right off 37 next to the Seaside Cigar and Convenience.

Personally, I'm excited to see these guys making a comeback, it's always nice to see a local business rise from the ashes.
