Who has the best donuts at the Jersey Shore? Everyone has their opinions on this; for example, I was a really big fan of the Chubby Unicorn, which used to sit off Route 9 in Bayville. Not only did I think they had a really fun name, but their donuts were seriously some of the best I've ever had.

Sadly, the Chubby Unicorn closed its doors back in 2024, and since then, it has been turned into a Spanish Restaurant, which is really good, but I do miss the Chubby Unicorn.

Uncle Doods and Ob-Co's are also regularly touted as some of the best donuts near the Jersey Shore, and of course, the Waretown Bakery is also a personal favorite if there's a need for a fun sweet treat.

One Jersey Shore Bakery Was Just Reviewed As Having Some Of NJ's Best Donuts

One Jersey Shore donut shop, however, just got reviewed by a Jersey Shore food critic, and the reviews were glowing.

Granted, I don't think anyone's surprised to hear this, good donuts and the Jersey Shore go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly. I'll be honest, I'm yet to try this place, but it's been on my radar for a while now, and after watching the video of these donuts, I may have to make a trip out this weekend.

It may come as no surprise that TikTok user Josh Food N Stuff gave Big Apple Bakery a glowing review; this place has been known forever as a go-to for mouthwatering donuts, and what I really like about it is that the donuts are thick but not cakey. It's the perfect consistency.
